If you like McDonalds food which most in this area do you will love this place take out only because of the plan demek General Cho's chicken was not that good race was soggy chicken was hard I don't know burned or something the fortune cookie in a broccoli we're good it's a takeout order no napkins no Forks nothing $8.40 go next door

Stopped for lunch while working. The young girl who was waiting on tables, answering phones, and helping customers with take out was a SUPERSTAR! General Tso's was fantastic and the portions were huge...enough to take home for dinner! Prices were right and left very satisfied. Will return next time I drive through Traveler's Rest!

Always fresh, hot and tastes great. I love the honey chicken in addition to the staples like General Tso. The hot mustard is insanely hot!! Very fast, friendly enough.

I eat here maybe once a month . Pleasant place, what I order every time is always good. Surprisingly, the waitress remembered my exact order today. Not bad for once a month!

This is one of my favorite places in downtown TR. I always get great service here in the family is just tremendous. I've watched their kids grow over the years and I've always enjoyed every single meal

You get what you pay for. However, the dumplings and rangoons were sort of... Floury? Bready? Anyway, the wonton wrappers were a strange texture and taste. Not pleasant.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years when it comes to Chinese food this is the only place I go because these are the sweetest people you were ever meet.Usually when I go to a restaurant foods are just blah like they all taste the same not here every single food has its own unique tasteDid I mention it tastes amazing? This place is the sweetest best tasting best costing Chinese food you will ever find.These people treat me like family, and that matters to me.Too often restaurant owners are in such a hurry to send people out as quick as I can so they can make a quick Buck because time is money.Not here I don't think that could ever happen here, they don't rush you. The only thing that they seem to rush is getting you quality food as fast as possible like usually 10 to 15 minutes no joke!!!

Food was ok dislike the food is bland. Plan dislike rip is very dry.. nothing has Sauce or soy sauce nothing for pricy.

Very good food and surprisingly inexpensive prices. The combination plates come with an egg roll and steamed or fried rice. I usually get the shrimp with broccoli and my wife gets the sesame chicken. My daughter typically orders a vegan option. I usually split my dinner in half because the portions are large enough to make 2 meals. We can eat here for half the cost of the nearby restaurants without sacrificing quality.

We have been eating here since probably 2006 or earlier. Will drive across town to eat here. Always great food! Orange chicken is my favorite... They are very polite and kind to everyone!

Ordered teriyaki beef, got teriyaki chicken. We live way too far away to go back and let them make it right. I should've checked it before I left I guess. Everything else on our order was right. Hubs said his was great!!

This place is absolutely amazing and the owners are very friendly!! The food is awesome!! it's a nice little restaurant in a small town where everyone knows each other and they remember you period. I love that in the atmosphere!! Ever since going there I don't eat anywhere else when I'm having a craving for Asian food.

Food tastes really good, but the attitude of the family of servers needs improvement! It did not feel like a welcoming environment 😔 unless the staff knew you personally.

For 10 years, my family and I have been eating here. My wife and I love to go on dates here as well. Friendly staff, good food, and a simple homey environment. Egg rolls are to die for! :)

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Have eaten here for years and never had a bad meal. Their menu is huge and the quality of their food is good. Although the place is a little small, the wait time isn't bad. Terrific for take out orders, which is the bulk of their business. Friendly service and the food always comes out hot and fresh. The decor needs updating however. I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and they are all pretty much the same with prices being the main difference. TR's is better than most of them and I always come back. I recommend them to you, if you want consistently good Chinese food. Nothing ultra special about the place, but don't let that fool you. When you're in Travelers Rest, go by and order yourself a good meal. I think you'll like it. Recommend their Beef with Mushrooms. Delicious.

Chicken is fried to death. The beef is excellent.

The food was very good. We had a oddly long wait before the food came out but I think they mostly do takeout as a few people came in and got their food quickly while we were there. The lady on the register was very nice and I believe her teenage kids came in to help. They were very nice as well.

I was generous with the two star rating. That was only because of the young waitress amd her kindness. They cooked me something COMPLETELY different than what i ordered. But i ate it anyways... That was until i tasted, and felt the dirt grains between my teeth. I will not be coming back.

Being from NYC, there's a lot of foods I miss. But TR Oriental has come closest to the authentic tastes of culture found in NYC. Also very fast and very friendly service.

Excellent take out but have never actually eaten in the restaurant.

We like a lot going out. Last night we went to this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely experience there with exceptional dishes and an efficient stuff and a great cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt visit again very soon. We highly recommend.

I use to only go to Chang Angs in TR but have been dissapointed in the food for the last 6 months or so. I tried this place and it was very good. Their chicken dishes actually had big chunks of white meat not hammered dark meat and way too much breading!! I'm not that picky but when you feel your only eating breading and some kind of thin chewy meat, well something isn't right!! I was very happy and we have ordered take out 3 times in the last 2 months and they are consistently producing a great dinner!!

I ordered 2 pints of shrimp fried rice and a pint of teriyaki chicken and egg roll. Wife picks it up brings it home. And it’s a pint of white rice and some kind of chicken with vegetables and 1 pint of shrimp fried rice. So I take it back to the restaurant and a young boy was at the counter he gets the woman I tell her she replies food not my problem she says food not my problem like 4 times I tried telling her I didn’t order this and she keeps saying food not my problem. So I’m out 19$ and no food thanks for nothing.

even though the place was packed on Christmas Day, our server still did a wonderful job of keeping everyone happy and brought our food out as soon as possible.
